Understanding SharePoint Online: Design and Development
Speaking at SPTechCon last month, Seth Patton, the Global Senior Director for SharePoint and OneDrive product marketing, claimed that at least 40% of all SharePoint installations are now in the cloud within Office 365. This highlights a huge transition for SharePoint, but also for the numerous organisations who are moving away from on-premises solutions, or are completely new to SharePoint.
No matter where you are in the migration/adoption process, SharePoint Online can be daunting, unwieldy and a little unfamiliar. In particular, the leap in application design from on-premises to online can feel drastic, even for a seasoned pro.
If you could use a little help in understanding what has changed, or best practices for approaching design in SharePoint Online, then our webinar is here to help! We will review some of the traditional methods for creating applications in SharePoint Server, and compare them to the possibilities Online. There will be friendly advice and handy demonstrations, working to fill any gaps between the two systems. We will also explore Microsoft's upcoming PowerApps concept, which is set to improve application design in SharePoint Online even further.
At the end of the webinar, you will be equipped with the understanding and skills to deliver compelling and useful applications.
